"Antaviana" is the magic word, invented by a little boy in a Pere Calder´s tale, to escape from the tediousness of school homework.

The success achieved by Antaviana, at the same time magical and down to earth, was mostly possible because it was the first time that an independent theatre company left political issues aside and penetrated the world of poetry and tenderness.

Xavier Fàbregas, a theatre critic and history researcher, defined the opening night as "the night when Catalan theatre made a Copernicarn turn".
Antaviana is the starting point for the collaboration between Dagoll Dagom and the set designers, Isidre Prunés and Montse Amenós, a collaboration that will be crucial for the developement and evolution of the company. In the particular case of Antaviana we can assured that it would have never been "such a show" without "such a magic box" of skies and mirrors.

The galactical music made by Jaume Sisa that filled Antaviana opened the way towards the world of musical.
